Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick Review (4.25 Natural Tan)

I can’t even begin to explain how I love this foundation! This is my first Bobbi brown product and I know I am getting more from them.

The packing is absolutely gorgeous. It has a “luxury” in its packaging. It is also light weight and hence easy to carry in your bag and go this swipe on stick makes application easy. You can also use it when you are on your vacation. In addition to its build-able coverage properties, it will serve a very good travel companion. Take a Bobbi brown foundation stick with you and be done with it.

The shade range of Bobbi brown blows my mind. There are 31 shades from lightest to darkest designed to suit every single skin tone. Anyone can find your perfect match from this range.

Texture

The texture is a creamy yet lightweight texture melts into skin seamlessly for an even, skin-like finish. I have normal skin, so the stick foundation glides on easily and it blends like dream. For oily skin, I guess it will work out for them really well, hands down! I wouldn’t say it is not for dry skinned woman but dry skin needs to be properly moisturized before applying.

Coverage

The coverage is the strongest advantage of this foundation and my favorite use too. It is build-able from low to high depending upon the needs. On days, when you are in the run, you can simply use this foundation as a concealer dab on marks and eyes and be done with it. This foundation will be a lazy girl’s best friend.

You really cannot go wrong with any of Bobbi Brown’s foundations if you struggle with acne. It is safe to use. I have acne problem but Bobbi brown foundation never breaks me out.

Finish

After applying Bobbi Brown’s foundation, my skin seems remarkable smooth. It does a decent job in sweat, water and humidity while I used this. But the formula stays put, while controlling oil and reducing shine. The finish is matte and it hides my acne scars very well and the look is very even-toned. The foundation sets to a powder like finish and it stays put. The finish stays around 10 hours with a setting spray and 7 hours without it. It is more than an average foundation stick, because not much foundation can resist the heat of India.

This foundation photographs really well, so you can use this during special occasions.

I picked out 4.25 natural tan which is exactly my skin color. It is recommended for Medium and Medium-Tan with yellow undertones

Bobbi brown claims Natural Tan (4.25) for Olive tanned beige with yellow undertones.

Overall Rating: 9/10 🙂
